Just a few updates and reminders. Tickets for lectures, panel discussions, and “The Agenda with Steve Paikin” live broadcasts are now sold out. If you were unable to get tickets, remember that these events will all be live streamed so you will be able to watch the events in real time from anywhere in the world!
If you were not able to get tickets, note that there will be a waiting line on-site for all these events, and people will be admitted in the event that ticket holders do not attend, or are not in their seats by the required time.
To get in a waiting line for any of the lectures, arrive at Perimeter Institute (PI) no earlier than one hour prior to the event time. When you arrive at PI, look for the waiting line sign by the entrance off of Father David Bauer Drive. You must arrive in person to be part of the waiting line. People who have tickets have until 15 minutes to the event to take their seats. If they show up after that time, ticket holders are asked to join the waiting line. Often there are seats to be filled by the waiting line.
Tickets to the Physica Phantastica Exhibit, Film Festival, and Science in the Pub are available starting September, 14, 2009. The Film Festival and Science in the Pub sessions will be ticketed individually. These are exciting events, so be sure to act quickly. It’s a good idea to set up your account prior to ordering tickets, in order to save time.
